Raster Info
This tool can be accessed from the Toolbox.
The Raster Info Tool allows users to select a pixel from a raster layer to view additional information such as elevation or RGBA values, similar to the feature info tool in Global Mapper desktop. If many layers are loaded, only the top raster layer will be read. The tool is active until a different tool is selected or the map is unloaded. This tool also works with Online Data layers.
Select the Raster Info tool, then tap on a pixel in a raster layer. A bullseye symbol will appear at the tapped location, and an Info box will display attributes from the top layer:
-
Layer Name
-
Coordinates
-
Pixel location in row and column count
-
Either elevation in meters for terrain layers, or RGBA color for imagery. The Info Box location can be changed in the Configuration page.
The bullseye symbol & Info Box will disappear when a different tool is selected or the map is unloaded.
