Miscellaneous Settings

Projection - This feature requires a Pro license With the Pro Module licensed the projection for a map can be changed. Supported projections in Global Mapper Mobile® are:

Geographic (Latitude/Longitude)
Lambert Conformal Conic
Mercator
Transverse Mercator

Keep Application Awake - When enabled the device will not go to sleep while the Global Mapper Mobile application is open and displayed on the device. This uses more battery power.

Error Log Detail Level - Set the level of detail recorded in the error log on a scale 0 to 4. A higher number will record a higher level of detail.

Enable Device Discovery - When enabled this setting makes the mobile device discoverable by the Global Mapper desktop Mobile Data Management tool for efficient transfer of data between a desktop and mobile device.

Allow Usage Reporting - This settings keeps a log of usage data, such as what app features are used and what types of data are loaded. The log also contains error information. To improve future versions of Global Mapper Mobile anonymous information about which features are used will be sent to Blue Marble Geographics when this setting is enabled.

Restore defaults - Select this option to return all settings to the default values.
