Move/ Reshape Features
The Digitizer Move/ Reshape Feature(s) menu offers a variety of tools
to move and reshape vector features selected with the Digitizer
tool. The options will vary slightly based on the type of feature selected
(point, line or area feature).
Enable the Show Area and Line Vertices option (Shift+V
is a keyboard shortcut to toggle this setting) to have access to
all of the features described below. Also select the
vertices to work with before performing any of the described vertex operations,
except inserting new vertices.
- MOVE - Selected Feature (Ctrl+Shift+M)
- Restore Original Shape of the Selected Feature
- Insert Vertex
- Move Selected Vertices
- Join Selected Vertices
- Set Position of Selected Vertices
- Shift (Offset) Selected Features
- Move Selected Point Features to Nearest Line
- Adjust Elevations to a Single Slope
- Edit Length of Area and Line Feature Segments
- Reverse Order of Vertices in Selected Area(s)/ Lines(s)
- Simplify Feature
- Simplify Selected Meshes (Reduce Resolution)
- Smooth Selected Line/ Area Features
- Resample/ Split Selected Feature(s) at Specified Spacing
- Close Gaps Between Adjacent Features
- Select Feature to Extend Lines to
- Extend the Selected Lines to Extend-To Feature
- Rotate/ Scale Features
- Drag to Rotate Selected Features Around Center
- Drag to Scale Selected Features Around Center
- Cut Selected Area(s) from Another Area (Add Islands)
- Cut Selected Area(s) from all Overlapping Areas (Add Islands)
- Smooth Selected Lidar Points
- Adjust Selected Lidar Points Towards Surface Model
