Mesh Layer Display Options

The Mesh (3D Model) Display tab provides the ability to set Resampling and Wireframe display options for textured/ filled mesh (3D model) layers.

The following style settings are available:

Resampling

If Interpolate Mesh Textures to Smooth Display is checked, gaps between pixels will be filled using bilinear interpolation to create a more spatially continuous looking model. Note that this option may lessen performance speed.

If this option is left unchecked, nearest neighbor rather than bilinear interpolation will be used when sampling the texture for a mesh (3D model). This is slightly faster, but will result in pixelated display when zoomed in.

Wireframe

Only Draw Wireframe in 2D View

When this option is enabled, mesh features will be drawn only using a wireframe in 2D view. Textured or colored mesh features will not be drawn in 2D view, but will still appear in the 3D viewer.

Draw Wireframe in 2D View When Zoomed In

When this option is enabled, a wireframe will NOT display over the color display textured/filled mesh features in 2D view until the view is zoomed in to a certain extent.
