Loading MDB files
Generic Microsoft Access MDB files can be lopened in Global Mapper 32-bit application.
When importing a generic Microsoft Access MDB file, Global Mapper will prompt
you to select the columns that contain values for X/Easting/Longitude,
Y/Northing/Latitude, and, optionally, Z/Elevation, and import one feature
for each row in the table. If a specified column contains data that cannot
be converted into a valid coordinate value, that row will be skipped,
and, at the end of the import, the user will be notified of the number
of rows that could not be imported successfully.
The user will also need to select the projection to be used for the data. At this time the import process only supports point data.
This works for import of GPSeismic Files.
Global Mapper also supports import of India Military MDB Database files and GeoMedia Access Warehouse Files .
