Release/Remove License

If you have a Licensed copy of Global Mapper this option will remove your current license and change Global Mapper to be unlicensed. This option will be slightly different depending on your license version:

Single User License - This will 'scramble' your local license file and provide you with a Removal Code. This removal code will serve as proof that your single license was removed, you should store the code somewhere safe. Global Mapper will attempt to open your default e-mail client, if one is available. This default e-mail will be addressed to orders@bluemarblegeo.com and will contain your code.

If you need to transfer your license to a different computer please send this removal code to authorize@bluemarblegeo.com or orders@bluemarblegeo.com and a Blue Marble Representative will reply to your with information on transferring.

  Network License - This will return your license to your network server. This will function the same way for both Borrowed and Checked out Licenses.

If your license file is checked out (not borrowed) this option will function the same way as closing the application.

Dongle License - This option does not affect a Dongle License.
