Create Square Areas of Fixed Ground Area

To create a square area for a fixed area threshold, select the option to 'Create Squares of Fixed Ground Area' from the Create Area/Polygon Features Digitizer's right-click menu. Once this option is selected the Specify Area Threshold dialog will populate (below).

Once the threshold is set, the Digitizer cursor will change to 'Area' left click to set the upper left hand corner of the new feature and finish the new Area Feature, the Modify Feature Info dialog will appear allowing you to setup the label, classification, drawing style, and attribution for the new feature. Once the shape is completed, the Digitizer Tool will remain in the selected shape creation mode.  Left click to start drawing a new shape, or right-click to choose a different mode.
