Metadata Preferences

Metadata Preferences allows you to establish default metadata processing for all jobs.

The Enable metadata processing checkbox should be checked if you wish metadata files to be written out during conversions. If it is unchecked, no metadata will be written out, and the rest of the Metadata Preferences form will be disabled.

The Output File Format region allows the user to set in what format the metadata will be written out, XML or TXT.

The File Name region allows the user to set a Metadata template. By default, the Preferences will load the template shipped with the application, however you can load a different default template if desired.

For each value which you would like to apply defaults to, select the Process Type “Default Text”.

Choose the Process Mode desired, and finally set the default value.
