Obtaining a License by Email or Telephone

1. When you launch Geographic Calculator the License Manager will automatically appear. If it does not you can access it under File > Licensing > License Manager. The License Manager displays your current licensing status
   

   

2. Click on the License Wizard button. You will be asked to choose a method of licensing for the product. Choose the second option, "Offline Activation", and click Next to continue.

   

3. The next screen will display a machine id (host id). Please email this information to orders@bluemarblegeo.com with your order number. You will receive a license file via email, which can then be transferred to the offline machine.
   

   

4. When you receive the license file, save it to your computer.  You can then start up the Geographic Calculator to import the license. Select the option again for Offline Activation. Press the ... button to locate the Geographic Calculator *.lic file that you were provided. Click Finish to close the Activation Wizard.

   
   

   If successful, the License Manager will display with the details of your new license.  Click OK to close it and begin using the functionality for the licensed product.
