In Venezuela, the Venezuelan Geoid Model of 2000 (MGCV04) relates the difference between the ellipsoid used by WGS84 and a surface approximating mean sea level. The model data exist in a single binary file consisting of a 30-second grid of elevation difference between the two surfaces. The elevation differences at non-grid point locations are interpolated.
