The Trimble Geoid Grid format is a generic offset grid format created by third party software applications. It provides a mechanism for using custom generated grids to move between two different vertical coordinate systems. The files are a custom binary grid, and the values for differences at non-grid point locations are interpolated using bilinear interpolation.

The path parameter can either be fully qualified or relative to the location of the data source file in which it is defined. The path string should not end with a slash character.
