In Colombia, the Colombia Geoid Model of 2004 (GEOCOL04) relates the difference between the ellipsoid used by the Magna-Sirgas datum (GRS80) and a surface approximating mean sea level. The model data exist in a single binary file consisting of a 2-minute grid of elevation difference values between the two surfaces. The elevation differences at non-grid point locations are interpolated.
