In the past year Blue Marble released the Blue Marble Desktop as a platform for delivery of its geospatial data conversion solutions. The Desktop helps manage geospatial data quality by providing a powerful all-in-one geodetic definition, coordinate transformation and raster/vector reprojection solution. The Blue Marble Desktop is driven by a common, comprehensive geodetic data source, GeoCalc.XML the largest commercially available coordinate transformation library. It includes many new administrative and workflow tools to assist users with streamlining their data transformation processes while ensuring accuracy and data quality. Transformer also supports display and editing of all major raster formats including popular compression formats like MrSID, ECW, and JPEG 2000. Blue Marble also recently released a new version of the software developer toolkit, GeoTransform 6.0, for raster data manipulation and transformation. This C++, cross platform toolkit works seamlessly with other Blue Marble developer tools like GeoCalc and GeoTranslate giving developers the ability to quickly embed advanced raster referencing, reprojecting, mosaicking and tiling quickly and easily.
